Meeting with the Alliance

October 2021 Meetings with Indigenous Leaders
Over the past few years, I have had the honor of meeting several indigenous leaders from around the world—essential figures who courageously and wisely defend the rights of their peoples and the preservation of their ancestral cultures.
These encounters have been a profound source of inspiration, and each one has been immortalized through a portrait in front of my paintings, merging traditional stories with contemporary art. My exchanges with these leaders have enriched my work, reinforcing the importance of art as a means of communication and transmission of universal values.
Posing in front of my works has been an opportunity to share moments of introspection, reflection, and celebration of indigenous cultures, while highlighting the beauty and strength of these often-overlooked peoples.
These portraits, filled with respect and symbolism, tell not only stories of struggle and resilience but also the commitment to a future more respectful of nature and traditions.
